Help!

Hey guys i have 3 anemones and one i guess broke suction and got stuck on the power head over night and was killed. He clouded the whole tank. my GBTA has Shirbbled up and my pink one has too. I am doing a 50% water change tonight is there anything else i should do? Fish and Inverts seen ok

Carbon may not be a bad thing if you have any handy. My GBTA did the same thing about two months ago but ended up doubling in size after all was said and done. Good luck

I dont have any carbon but i put a new carbon filter in. Can i get carbon from a store easy?

Any LFS will carry it.

I just looked and unfortunately I don't have any carbon. If you are close to scenic hwy there is a Wal-Mart that will probably carry some carbon.

Thanks I found a small box i had left over. may be old but should help. I move all this to my bigger tank tomorrow anyway so it should be ok

Definitely get them out of the tank and acclimate them to another one if possible. Anemones can take down an entire system when they pollute the water...

Make sure you stir up the sand and get all the nitrates, ammonia up out of the sand as you siphon as well... it will help and its a good time to do it since your water is toast anyways... I am done with anemones for now because of this. Lost 2 in the 125 that got sucked up into the 1400s...
