High MG levels

small end, at least that's what the instructions recommend.
So i want to thank everyone for all the help as i finally got it right and came out with a mg level of 950 which is low so now what to dose, lol?

but still very little growth out alot of my corals. The polyps grow fair/slow and duncans do well but everything else is really slow...thoughts

Your calc and alk levels looks fine. Do you have a cal reactor? or are your water changes keeping your calc and alk levels in check? How heavy is your coral stock? When I had to start dosing, my pH was 8.0-8.1, alk was very low (3-4 dKH), calcium was fine (around 400), and Mag was very low (950). This is with a moderately high SPS stock in a crammed 50 gallon.
I got the BRS two part because I needed all three elements (plus pH) raised in my tank (water changes just weren't keeping up....or I wasn't keeping up with water changes, lol:doh
. Your case is different, you just need Magnesium.
So, IMO you really just need a good Mag supplement. Take your pick, I don't know which is better or worse. I used Kent Tech M to get rid of Bryopsis, so that and BRS are the only two products ive used.
Are these tests on your 75? or the 150 (in progess)? You'll prob need more than the small bottle of these supplements. I think you can get a gallon jug.

This is based on my 72 and no, i do not run a calc reactor. Im just doing 10 to 15 gallon water changes every week with aquavitro.
Corals:couple sps, couple lps, alot of softies and zoas, nem...
I also have zero coraline in the tank as well which is a reflection of all this im sure.
Thanks for the input, i really do appreciate it as i was told to start with kalkwasser but i def think im going to pass as i have seen the destruction it can do it not applied correctly.
If you see zero coralline, you might want to add some. I don't think that algae just appears. My first batch of live rock had no coralline when i started. I picked up a 5 lb rock from a lfs that was traded in and it was covered in coralline. After that, the coralline took off. Point is, you need to introduce coralline to the tank for it to start growing.
This is all assuming you have none.
Good luck with Mag dosing:up: and BTW since this is just for the 75, you don't need to buy the gallon jug right off the bat. But it will be cheaper in the long run (buy in bulk).

Use a razor blade and scrape a bit off into the water column or direct a powerhead towards the coraline and the spores can spread more easily.
