Refugium or sump section with Cheto , I found out that they absorb so much nitrates they grow like crazy. I would caution to make sure CHETO is not in the same section as your Pumps as it will ruin a skimmer or return pump. I have a refugium half full of it and I trim it every time i do water changes. MHO. But I am lesser experienced than the previous posters.

Ok I will get the refugium how can I mke it work whit my sump ? If is a separate tank

Several ways. Easiest would be split the supply lines from the tank. Make sure you add a ball valve to slow down the supply. Then pump into your main sump in the chamber with your skimmer. then the water will flow back to the tank.

It's possible that there is no problem at all - so don't do anything drastic until you determine whether or not there is, in fact, a problem.

Thank you to everyone for the help I change 50 gallons of water today and I will get the refugium this weak and hopefully tha would solve the problem thanks guys.
