Hitchhiker, help!

I just bought rock from another member, brought it home and put it in the tank. I noticed something crawling around on the rock not sure what it is. Looks like some type of worm! What is it and what do I do? I pulled one out of the water to take a picture the others are pictures of the rocks I bought. Not sure if its coraline or red hair alage, debating to take it out and bleech it.

Looks like a bristle worm they are a good addition to your clean up crew

Thanks guys, I panic whenever something I don't know is introduced to the tank. Newbie in action, knowledge is power, I don't have much right now still learning the ropes.

Edit: I didn't think another member would sell something that wasn't just right! I have a lot of faith in this group, helped me leaps and bounds already!

Lol you touch them yet . Yea that are part of most if not all reefs. Your wrasse will eat them

Noooo... I wouldn't suggest touching him with your bare hands... it might scare him (and you won't do it again for other reasons).

Think I will pass on the petting zoo, but it's good to know they aren't going to kill everything in the tank.

I touched one today.. picked it up and pulled it from one tank.. took it to the other tank and hand fed it to my puffer...


what's the big deal?
