Hmmmm... ahhh!!! Attach of po4

The water temp plays a big part in how an ro membrane will preforme, as does the proper flow restrictor for said membrane(s).

My thought exactly.

This is how I run mine, 0 tds.

interesting...

So you don't have DI today? I have never measured any PO4 with a working DI stage.

im running 1 Micron MATRIKX, 5 Micron MATRIKX + CTO®/2 and a 1 and 5 micron rosaver plus two di i get 0 tds but that only after i fixed my lack of psi.

Weekly? Really? Every time I change frequently my tricolor bleaches out to a solid white.
Next time your in my area Ralph I would love for you to stop by and see what I'm doing wrong.

I change mine every 10-12 days....

however, if you are having a phate issue, change it at least weekly because it can get saturated quick.

I feed heavy....

How many cups do you use in your BRS reactor? Do you use less than recommended because you change more often? Or are you using the recomended amount(or more) and still changing that frequently. I probably have been a little food happy due to an introduction of a few new fish.

1 and 3/4 cup for 90-100 gallons....in a dual BRS, the other one contains Rox Carbon.

Edit: I go on and on for years with no Algae or SPS issues.....

Last July though, I had fish health issues after introding a new fish....and I increased feeding & additives.....I'm still dealing with some still, lol.......almost done, though...

Wow, ok. I'm using about a quarter of that quantity. I'll try bumping it up slowly.

I am using 2 1/2 cups in the BRS dual. Other chamber rox. Almost no pest algae. A few spots of hair, and bubble here and there. I'll be testing daily until the meter says 0.01ppm.

90-100 total water volume.

if you put that much in, it's hard to insure the top is actually percolating....if it's not; wasting gfo.

Tested again today. Maintaining at .02ppm. I was getting good polyp extension at .06, but it is even better now.
