Does anyone here us a CPR HOB refugium?
If so how do you like it?
Is it worth the money?

I have a medium (4 gal?) one on a 55. I run a deep sand, LR and cheaeto in it. It has worked good for me and my only complaint is that I get too much light bleeding over into the main tank to run it on an opposite light schedule so it's on the same timer as my main lights. They are pricey IMO brand new so i would shop around for a used one if your serious about getting one.

Depending on how big of a tank you want to put a fuge on, you could always mod an Aqua Clear filter. I have a AC110 on my 15gl and an AC70 on my 7gl. They work like a charm!

But if you can get the CPR for $25!!! Go for that.

Jsucmarine is running an Ebay HOB fuge and I have been very impressed with it. Pretty sure it was more than $25, but it works like a champ with a Home Depot el'cheapo desk lamp. I'll be running one shorty on my other small cube because it's zeroed his nitrates and killed all blooms the small all-in-ones are famous for:D

Be careful you're not buying a "HOB Refugium Kit" that you still have to assemble yourself. I'm familiar with the seller yall are talking about and his prices look good, but he sells kits and fully assembled fuges, just make sure you're getting the right one.
