Hole for bulkhead - double checking

I just wanted to double check before I get started on a long overdue project. I'm drilling 2 brute cans for my mixing stations to fit 1" bulkheads. I need a 1.75" hole saw for this, correct. Thanks in advance!

Check with the manufacturer to be sure. Not all 1" bulkheads are created equal and require different hole sizes.

Have you looked at using a Uniseal rather than a bulkhead? They're made for rounded surfaces.

I've got uniseals for the bottom hole, this is just for the top, return hole. I had these guys sitting around so I figured I use them on the project. I've read that with smaller brute cans the regular bulkheads will work fine.
