Hollywood Stunner question

Right about the same time I had one of my acros RTN I noticed either a bleach spot in the middle of my stunner. Today, roughly 2 weeks later, it looks like it's healing. I also heard it's possible for some algae to grow in that "dead" spot and to watch it.

Is this true? Do they heal like that?

Yes, they can heal like that! I had a chalice fall and land in the middle of my stunner, the watermelon died but the stunner completely healed in a few months. Algae can slow the healing process down. Holley:D
 
Awesome, I guess it healing and not continuing to bleach means I'm doing something right :)..... Now to figure out what that is

Usually dead stuff won't come back to life but new tissue will encrust over the old dead spot.
