ok, albeit it was difficult to cut....my bone cutters worked, but I had to repeatedly snip & cut. I aimed for the narrowest part, so at least it wasn't major...(one cut took about 15 tries)

Worked out great! Now I have three, 3 branched frogspawn I'll be selling cheaply as soon as they heal!
