How did THAT happen?!?!

OK, so lastnight I'm looking my tank over with the flashlight (about 2 hours after lights out) and I check the overflows..

I see literally a hundred pods (the larger ones that look kind of like shrimp) in my overflows..

will they make their own way throughout the system or should I put forth the effort to get them out of there and into the fuge/display ?

Just let them be they will go through with the flow of the water...

That's what happens when you snoop around your tank at night, you find things... kidding aside, you overflows are basically mini fuge. in my old tank I had grape algae, bristle warms and pods. The algae made it's way there by mistake and I had to trim it every now and then so it doesn't interfere with the flow. These are all tank goodies which will eventually make it to the main display.

I wasn't really concerned.. but alas, I don't think they'll make it past my filter socks.. lol
