i have mine mounted using the velcro supplied with them and they didnt stick that well to the wood at first so i superglued the strips to the wood but now its been about 2 years and they are starting to come off. so im looking for a new way of mounting them that is neat and clean looking and will be sturdy enough to get bumped and not let them fall down

sweet but howd you do that i didnt think there were any holes for that in the back panel of it

I have just wireless controllers and they have 4 holes. Not sure if the Wes do

The home improvement stores have industrial strength velcro patches, has worked well for me.

oh ok yea i forgot that the original vortech controllers had mounting holes on the sides. the ecosmart controllers dont which isnt exactly the smartest move on ecotechs part i guess they figured the velcro would be enough

i might try getting some of those and then just screwing them into the wood for piece of mind and maybe stripping all the adheisive off and using epoxy to mount it to the controller itself

You really don't have to do that unless you really want to. Mine have been mounted using these Velcro patches for ever. Recently had to remove them to move to a new spot and it took way more effort than I thought it would take. The glue they use on the industrial ones is some super strong stuff.

I have the same ones, and I'm using these Velcro-like things that 3M makes now for hanging pictures. One piece sticks to the wall and one to whatever you're hanging. Then the two Velcro pieces stick to one another. The difference, though, is that there's no glue. Each piece easily peels off whatever you stick it to.

+1 to the industrial Velcro. I've seen that stuff hold up some crazy things. I was at someone's house and they had actually used it to hold up their T-5 light fixture (not that I would ever suggest anyone do that).

I use the 3M easy hang tape that has the pull tab for easy removal. Works like a charm.

I don't have a vortech but I use the 3m command strips to mount items. The biggest is probably a large power strip fastened to the wall inside my stand. Works great.

I'm not to proud to say that I just wedge mine in a nest of power wires. Works great.
