I have one of each, and I have no clue how to do it. I tried to feed the anemone with shrimp my my fishs and up steeling from the poor thing. Please help me out guy's.
Thank you.  :confused2:

Your fire shrimp should just eat whatever you are feeding your fish. They are usually pretty good at getting the leftovers. The anemone needs to be target fed. Alot of the time you just have to fight off the fish for a minute or two untill you're sure the nem has it clinched! Good Luck! :)

I sharpened a thin dowell rod and skewer a piece of shrimp, then just graze it along the tentacles of the anenome and let it grab it off.

As said, I just let the Fire Shrimp get whatever everyone else is eating. Occassionally I'll drop a couple small pieces of pellet in after feeding the fish and let the hermits, fire shrimp and nassarius snail fight over them.

Skewer the fire shrimp and feed it to the anenome! That would be way cool. :)

It also helps to feed a little food on the other end of the tank to distract the fish, then quickly target feed the nem while the fish are busy on the other end.
where can I buy the silversides?

I have been feeding my GBTA pieces of frozen raw shrimp from publix. They are fairly inexpensive. I cut off a piece about the size of a fingernail (smaller if a small anenome) and thaw in a small amount of tank water in a cup. Then I use a pair of long curved tweezers to palce it in the tentacles near the center. Once the anenome has hold of the food the other fish can not take it away. I give one or two pieces a week. Mine seem to be healthy and has split. I feed a long tentacled anenome the same way as well. Good luck!

I don't feed my rose anemone. A lot of folks don't feed them.

He's massive so I don't think he's malnourished.

Same for my fire shrimp. He gets what he can scavange. He was actually one of my first "fish" and since he's still kicking I assume I'm doing okay by him.
