How do you clean your socks?

Somehow I would up with some large felt socks with plastic rings. They have a lot of stuff on them. Are you telling me I can wash these and use them?? I don't see how I could rinse them clean.

So did you just throw your away?

Awesome sig BTW I love incubus!

No I think they are laying around. They are huge. Came in a donated box of fish stuff stuff.

I just found one. The top is actually in a rectangle shape, not a ring
And Yeah! I had to switch it up after somebody tried explaining to me "It's not that people don't like you because you are 23"... LOL

Edit: I am 99% sure I am not allowed to post this here

O ok.

I used to love Blink 182 back in their day! I still have a few of their CDs around here somewhere. They are the only band I haven't seen live that I really wanted to!

Machine wash 2 cups bleach gentle cycle front loader. 5min Rodiprime soak , verify no bleach fumes.
Vineger soak as needed for particulates.
I change mine once a week or when over flow. I use a lot of bleach, no suds on hand wash cyle.
I turn the washer off after the start to let the, soak. I dip them prime and RO. They smell like bleach going in then dont after a few minutes of soaking. Bleach will evaporate if you let it breath. I worry about all the other stuff.
mine get dark, but I turkey baste clean a lot. I was turning them inside out , but I haven't seen a difference. They plugged up quickly regardless in a few days. I found if I soak them in vinegar it really returns the filtering and flow.
Warning:

I had bought 12 of them. Some of them where puralator brand. I'm not sure which brand but the seams came undone . You can tell the difference on how the quality of the seam. I sewed them up, I probably would not happened if I wasnt machine washing.

I notice

Well it would probably suck to see them now!

However Incubus is probably still amazing live. I reaaalllyyyy wanted to see Muse, but I'm pretty sure it was last weekend so I have to wait until next round. I just hope they still play some stuff of their first couple albums.. I hate it when really great bands change!

You going to music midtown? I have a feeling that it will just be disappointing after my last one (before they stopped for a few years). Not stoked about the line-up

Its crazy how different all these cleaning recipes are. I think I might start off simple and if the sock don't last near as long I will try doing more elaborate techniques.

Yea I have seen incubus a few times already they were crazy good! I won't be going to any concerts until after Christmas. My busiest time of the year is in the Summer and the fall! I got to go to 311 day a few years ago in New Orleans and that was crazy!

first you have to dip it 1 7/32" in pure H2O2 and then you slowly drip RODI until the sock is fully submerged. You must dilute the solution slowly and in even increments to effectively disinfect the fibers.

Once this in complete hang it outside your car window and drive into a lake. Hope this helps.

Ha that's what I was thinking! Kinda reminds me of my nuclear physics class!

I clean my socks with Tide and a capful of Clorox. On another note: I just rinse with a garden hose and let the socks set in some RO water and Prime for a while.
