how do you make the overflows make less noise?

:sad: I have an overflow that has started making more noise than when I first set the tank up. What is a good way to get it to stop. :confused2: It has gotten so bad that I thought my tank had broken but thank goodness it was only the overflow.

I installed a 1/4in airline in my down pipe with the open end vented to the room. This greatly reduce any noise my overflow made.

Ok I have made the air flow to one size about the size of the pipe itself and the other is the size of a coffee straw. And now it is super quite. I have my fingers crossed that it is fixed.
