How do you remove lid off of biocube/rsm 130d

I am trying to find a detail how to guide on how to take the hood off with out breaking anything. I want to take the top off or cut a hole in the lid of my red sea max 130d and put an ocean revive led on top. If anyone has a link or knows hows, the info would be much appreciated.
