How long does GFO need?

I got a new reactor set up tonight from BRS. Is there any idea on how long it will take to start seeing results or does it vary?

I've been having minor cyano outbreakd that have been getting closer and closer together.

It Will begin working immediately you should see a testable difference in a day or so.

testable results in a day or two noticable results a week to a month depending on the severity of your problem and the amount of phosphates in the water.
