How long you've been in saltwater?

I set up my first salt water tank in 1986. Kept an anemone alive for almost a year and a half, no small feat considering the lighting of the time, and never heard of a skimmer. You think it's expensive now? I paid more back then for stuff than I do now.

Been screwing-up since March of '06.

Never had any aquarium before, so I thought I'd start with something easy...
like a nano-reef or two or three.

I love to hate loving this hobby, or hate to love hating this hobby.
I dunno any more.

I setup my first tank when I was 13 (1989). I didn't get into reefs until 2001.

lol... casino!! I know so many asian people that spend thousands at a time in those places... NO GOOD!!! if you want to gamble then just throw 3 oz of kalking wasser in your tank and see if it will make corals grow faster!!! I took that gamble and it came out as it would in a casino.
