I've set up my 110g and after much rearranging and almost going for a swim a few times, I got the rocks the way I like them. The problem is after I added the corals, mostly frags on small rocks, it totally changed the way it looked, and I can't get it to look natural. The corals just look like they were thrown in and the don't fit.. Any tips on making them fit in?

It depends on the type of coral, but if they are on plugs, remove them and glue them directly to the rock where you want them.

Can I glue it in the water with the SG gel, or do I have to take the rocks out to glue them? Some of my rocks are very large and wold be a pain to take out and arrange again.

Let the corals grow in. They will grow in natural ways, directions, etc. Reefs aren't established in a day. ;)

You don't need to take the rock out just the frags. Dry them as best you can, put the SG Gel on the frag and then put in place. The glue will form a skin as soon as it hits the water so you need to scrape it some on the rock to break the skin. Hold it in place for about 30 seconds. I always recommend that you wear gloves, the thin type, so you won't accidently glue your fingers to the rock.

just take a dremel tool and cut the stem off the frag and glue the rest to the rock. wont take long for the coral to start looking natural.

awesome guys I'll give it a try. This will also solve the problem of the darn turbo snails knocking frags off constantly.. grrr.. wasn't so bad in the 55g, but I cant reach the bottom of this one. lol

My wife hates frag plugs. They don't bother me that much. I'm hoping everything just overgrows them. Although I woke up this morning and 2 of my frag plugs are not where they should be :/

That is a daily battle with me. Darn turbo snails love to rearrange for me. I did glue a few things down over the last couple of days. Some I left lose cause either I'm not 100% sure where I want them in the long run, or I'm still trying to find a spot where it is the most happy.. I'll tell ya though.. It's nice not having to worry about picking up as many off the sand in the mornings and tehy do look better glued down :) Thanks for the advice..
