Is that safe for the reef tank or will that through everything off balance and make your tank crash? I'm using Instant Ocean right now and I haven't read too many good things about it. So I was thinking of switching to another brand.
Any suggestions or comments?

What makes you guys prefer one over the other? I've never used anything else but Instant Ocean ever since I've starting this hobby about 2 years ago, and its also the only brand my LFS carries.

As far as I know the differences from one mix to another is the amount of things such as calcium, magnesium, ect. However, I'm sure some people know many other ways they differ in quality and such.
