how to catch a goby?

got everyone out and in the hospital tank to treat for my ich break out, and i cant seem to get my yellow faced goby to go in the fish trap im borrowing from creation. ive tried all kinds of stuff. sat it right outside his cave, ontop of it and tried chasing him in with a net. dont seem to be getting anywhere :/
