How to remove a nem?

So my Sherman is getting a little big and I would like to remove it without tearing my tank apart. Any suggestions?

Unless the foot is buried in a hole - I’ve had good success using a dental floss pick.

It’s twisted under a rock at the bottom and it’s stretching like 6 inches out. It’s foot is pretty far in not sure I can even reach it

You can try pointing a powerhead at it. Some times that will get them to move.

Then once out of the hole you can use a turkey baster and blow water at its foot right at the rock right where the foot attaches. It takes a while and your forearm will hurt but it’ll start to release.

If it is deep in the tank and locked into rock, I would just leave it alone. You can try to annoy it so it moves, then catch it off guard.
