How to rid grape caulerpa

A buddy of mine gave me some mixed in cheeto. i took it all out of my sump but now i see it growing out of the live rock. tiny strands just popping up. any ideas how to rid this? i was thinking of taking my cheeto out and putting it in a 5 gallon bucket with powerhead and light for a few days i heard the grape caulerpa wont grow without light? any idea is appericated

what every you do, don't pop any of them. That will make them spawn everywhere

Im trying not to but return is lol. so far they are only on the rock in my sump
