How would you aquascape?

I like the center. My 40 breeder has a haphazard collection of rock in the center and off the sides of the glass. I started my 40 gallon tank a little over a year ago to handle the frag when I ran out of real estate in my nanocube. I also wanted to try t-5 and park the mh.
 
2 and 3 are quite similar. 1 would require alot of rock. IMO do what you want and with a 40g you really can't put alot of rock in there. My vote would go with the 2 or 3 style.
 
Meh...not really a fan of either for a 40B. With such limited space I would personally look for some quality, porous branching type to maximize surface area and build a bridge. Have you ever seen the red LR, pipe organ type. It's beautiful bright red and extremely porous (just a thought).
