Hey everyone,
do some research for some new livestock. For the owners of this trigger how hardy are they and will they get along with a blue spot puffer(researching also) that might become his tank mate? Thank you Mike:shades:

They are very hardy..hard to kill really. Can be pretty aggressive with other trigs but should be fine with the puffer. Ive had a huma with a dog face puffet and they loved each other.

It's been a long time since I've kept this particular fish but when I did....they were very hardy. Easily trained to eat different foods. Mine were very social. Now with any animal, that can change from each one. I would do two things before acquiring....watch them in a tank and have them fed to make sure they are eating before taking one home (actually do this with any fish).

yes they can go together. we actually keep ours with a clown trigger and they get along great. They are awesome fish/great personality. good luck.
