Hydor in line heater?

Has anyone used the Hydor in line heater? And if so what are your thoughts?
I just do not want to put a heater in side the tank due to the look of it.

They work well.

I used one for a very long time.

Do you run a canister filter? That's the best way to utilize this type of heater

Back in the day I ran a canister, I had the in-line heater going to the tank, and an inline UV on the in-take....... Coupled with my large particled substrate, that was about the cleanest tank I ever ran....

Yeah I am running an in line uv also.... So glad to here that worked out.

It cuts down on the flow rate, but it is a good way to have a canister do double time, and keep equipment out of the tank
