does anyone know a good way to get rid of them? is there any kind of fish or livestock that will do this?

I think Keyhole Limpet snails will eat them

I have limpet snails, they do no harm, just harmless cleaners in my tanks. They eat film algea and leftovers! Sorry-I can't tell you if they work on hydroids-I don't have any yet!

Hydroids look like dandelions with a black dot in the center.
