I'm back after being off the site for a few months while i moved to Atlanta etc.

Now i can't post in any forum except this one.

How do I get this fixed?

You should be able to post everywhere expect Member only forums ( Forsale,Members only,ECT)

Become a member. :-) While everyone will welcome you as a non member, it is a big plus to become a paying member. Best $30 I have spent in a long time. On top of that, if you are a paid member the sponsors give you a 10% discount on purchases.

Wow.. So I have to pay to use the site? Kind of crazy.

I've been a member of many reef clubs, and have never had to pay to use the club website.

I won't be setting up my tank until I move out of my rental home. Might be as long as another year. Paying now doesn't make sense.. but sucks that i'll have to pay to stay current on info and make friends in the interim.

You should be able to use the whole site except for the couple members only areas, but forums like Reef Discussion should be open to you.

You don't have to pay to use most of the forums, you do however have to have a high enough post count to post in the for sale area..

Yep.. looks accurate. I can post in most but the member forums I guess, which, happened to be the ones I tried.

Thanks guys.

You may need to achieve a minimum post count to post in certain forums too.

It's done that way to reduce spammers - clearly you aren't a spammer - this is just one of the safeguards the admins put in place to combat spam. Chime in in a few threads and you'll satisfy that requirement (make it relevant though, or they'll delete obvious "padding").

Welcome back!

To me it Makes sense. I used the Site way before i set-up. It helped me Knock out some errors and where to find some good deals.

I am having the same issue. I recently moved here from NC and I am considering becoming a member but I am finding the number of post requirement to be a hassle. I was a member of the reef club when I was in Houston and it was a pleasant experience. I hope this one is too.

What forum are you having trouble with?

Eddie, I can tell you that is very much worth it. The people on this site are great. As I said earlier in this thread, it was the best $30 I ever spent. This is a community and when people see you want to be a part of the community they treat you like a trusted neighbor. That is what it all boils down to.
