So today I just got a cleaner shrimp from SEA atlanta, and after drip accimalating it for about a hour, I added him to the tank. Now he his still shy, and walking about the tank, but my 2 clownfish and coral beauty follow him everywhere. They just crowd him and expect a cleaning, but my shrimp won't really clean them much(I guess it is just still getting used to the tank). This has been going on ever since I added to the tank, which was about 2 hours ago.

I got a cleaner shrimp from SEA Atlanta too, and it sits on the underside of a rock and wags it's little taste feelers. I haven't seen it clean, but I haven't really seen it out in the open either.

The shyness will go away. I have had one for about 4 or so months now and it "attacks" my hand to clean it every time I put it in the tank.

My cleaner shrimp has been in my tank longer than any other inhabitant(almost a year). He is LAZY. He will not clean fish, will not clean my hand, and won't clean rock. He sits around and waits for pellets and flake. Same with my neon goby. And it's not like my fish don't have ick. I have a pair of helfricki fire fish that always have a few spots, they've been that way since i've had them(4months). I guess there is an in-tank worker's strike.
