<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">Everyone has different objectives and priorities with their set-up.</span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">In addressing the OP, it seems the acclimation process from MH to LED is
<u>very</u> critical. </span></span><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">If not done properly could very easily stunt the growth of the coral.</span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">#1 priority for me is the MH HEAT.</span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">These halides are just cooking the room I have my display in. Not to mention my water temp is borderline needing a chiller.</span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">Growth? Sure I want growth...but I am patient. </span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">I’m willing to sacrifice speedy coral growth for a room temp I can enjoy my display without the old lady wearing me out about how hot the room is.:mad2::moderator:</span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">Although…seems there is some debate about LED’s and coral growth.</span></span>
<span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: Verdana">I haven’t gone through all of this, but it seems like a good read on RC.</span></span>
