I have part of this old Apex system. Should i keep it?

This is all I have for this system. What do I need to get this running everything? The outlets on the energy bar with blue tape over them don't appear to be working. Should I even try with this or just start fresh with a totally new and complete system?

Side note: does anyone know what brand this light bar is or what kind of lights it's for?

That’s old 2nd Generation Apex there.

You have the brain, display and the outlets. )It will work as it is) but if you want to have it control via WiFi, (always from home etc), you will need separate internet access point module added and use old programming guide to connect to your IP. I believe once you connect via IP address, it gives you Alex token code to use for current Apex app.

If the eb8 works I’d keep it, I use 2 eb8s like the one you have with a newer brain and have 0 issues

only 3 of the outlets work unless I'm missing something here. I plug it up and all outlets should still get power like any evergy bar, right?

im not 100% sure on that one, was it your old system or did you get it from someone?

I got from someone in all likelihood it was damaged during the move.. I've never used it or anything like it for that matter.

Those old systems work. I’ve sold a couple in the last year for $100. EB8 may need an update or reset. You can plug it into a current apex and update to test.
