I have .....

Can we do it over lunch Jeremy??

I owe you some pizza

Just be thankful it's not full blown Reef-Aids (AEFW). Red Bugs are easily dealt with (in most cases) but you do stand to lose some other inverts.

It's strange, because I've never seen Red Bugs come in from any transship/wholesaler....AEFW, that is another story.....Most people pick Red Bugs up from other hobbyists

I have flat worms now red ones. but few SPS because of it and I would like to do a treatment.

I did catch mine from a Sponsor but Ill leave it be.

Please dont ask anyone

Are they clear AEFW or regular flatworms? Do you have a wrasse or two?

If u have room and your community will permit a malanarus (spelling) will eradicate them. That's why I got mine and he's a GREAT citizen

;)

No wrasse as I run a BB tank.

I have new sand and Rock cycling now for my tank overhaul. I have Bubble algae everywhere and red flat worms.

They are red and flat.

Yup, Sixline wrasses will develop a taste for them as well. Can't go wrong with either.

Edit:

Grab a sixline, they don't need a sandbed. Some ornamental wrasses will eat flatworms as well. This is a much better solution than Flatworm exit, etc.

What size tank is it?

No one else has luck with Emerald crabs? I had some bubble algae in a 25 gallon display at my store, threw in like 3 emeralds and it was gone in a week. They usually annihilate it. I know critters aren't always the answer to pest, but I just hate chemical treatments =(

93 cube.

Every 6 line Ive had has killed my fish.

I have plans for some nice delicate $$$ fish and dont wanna risk it

Got any last CUC to sell??? I need some

I hear ya Kris. I'm setting up a 93 cube at my new place! The new Perfecto Rimless. I'm pumped. It's a nice dimension.

I love it!!

Sadly It was Suppose to have Only Reefworks SPS : (

That Blue acro I got from you a bit has Doubled in size but started to get covered in BA!

I hate BA with a passion. It took over my entire tank

So sorry to hear about the Bubble Algae. Also sorry I can't hook you up with SPS! I might still come down for frag swaps and meetings, so I will bring stuff to trade at least. I will definitely make a build thread on my 93 cube.

Best part is my new place has a basement, so I can finally have a massive sump room plumbed down there. What size sump are you using?

Edit: Oh, and also, BAYER pest control is incredible. It absolutely destroys Red Bugs, AEFW, anything. I've lost many, and I mean MANY SPS from dipping in Coral RX when they arrived at my store. There is no doubt it stresses SPS out. One time, I forgot I put a millie in the Bayer when it arrived, me and Reggie went to lunch, mozy back and hour or two later and the millie had it's polyps out, as happy as can be, sitting in the dip.

I feel much more comfortable with Bayer than any other dip.

The treatment I have is effective against flatworms, nudibranchs, and I assess red bugs too. And can be used in display. Been working on it a while.

Ditto... I always like to have a good emergency plan ready to go, just in case I need it. You can Pm if you want to.

I think most of us don't keep a QT system, if so we would have never found out how to treat pests. Experience comes through making a few mistakes here and there and learning to solve them. In a perfect world Tangs would be scared of big tanks and all types of angelfish would mate like parakeets:)
