Admittedly I can get a little excitable about things I find in my tank, however when doing a daylight flashlight search of caves (which I actually do fairly often) I think I've found lots and lots of little fry. How many are in a typical batch? I'm sure my blenny will eat a bunch, but aside from him i only have the 2 clowns, 2 tangs 4 chromis and a dragonet in a 120... if i put in some coral food what are the odds of survival?
Now a little about what I'm actually seeing. They are very small, probably 4 or 5 mm long. They move like fish with little fishy eyes. I've seen freshwater fry before, but never outside of a controlled tank. These guys are hiding in alot of the nooks and crannies and seem very light shy so its hard to really get a look. I have seen them swim enough to say they aren't "shrimping" to move around.
The clowns in this tank are 2 false percs purchased together in late winter. They typically keep to themselves in the back of the tank so I never get to see their activities. Any other ideas of what I'm seeing or how to increase the chances for these little guys?

if thats the case how would we go about getting you a population going? It would explain why the dragonet is doing so well. the poor thing was starving a few months ago when I got it and it has gotten huge and happy

After you suggested it I looked them up and also clown fry and it could be either from looks (I can't see all that well) but they are acting like the shrimp with the rock hiding an all so thanks for the likely id.
