Hmmm I can start w a few easy sps and grow frags to pay for new equipment

Can I live wo a reef computer and a super expensive skimmer? I suppose

Hmmm in 3 months I can grow frags to buy things with

Brandon it appears your doomed to always have a reef tank. It's only been a few months and your jonsing for it! Decide what you want and buy it right! You know there's always someone getting out...

camellia, I think I can do it right w a lot less cost and mess ups than I did before haha. Ideally I can find a 48x24x16, maybe a few mh pendants, a u send aquacontroller and a decent skimmer... If be good to go

+1. I trade for stuff whenever possible and if I need new light bulbs or something, I frag stuff. I've got a couple zoa colonies that have pretty much paid for my whole tank. I definitely haven't broken even, but it definitely helps convince the wife I'm not blowing all of our money.

Yea... I can't say I've MADE money, but I bet I've come close to breaking even... I normally don't even frag until a coral is infringing on something else or is just taking up too much room.
