Ich-Focus-Metro

Can you please post your tried and true method for administering metro and focus to cure ich in your DT? no QT methods please as that is not an option.

Mix the metro and focus with garlic, soak the food in it and make a paste. You can re-freeze the paste so make a lot. Then, break off a chunck sized for your feeding load, thaw but not in water, then drop in the tank. Feed several times a day. I am not speaking from lots of experience but repeating what some very experienced reefers have told me.

This about sums it up.....I've used it as a sole source of ich treatment for years. Just put in small amounts per feeding until they eat it all up, then more etc..so its not floating around

This treatment only works assuming the fish are still eating.

I think you have gotten great advice, I did it with my tang a few months ago. Everybody is doing well now.

This looks like a Great process I will try that next time. I was misting water on pellets and sprinkling metro and focus then let dry then feed couple times a day

I was told that metro and focus taste bad (how she knows that I haven't a clue). hehehehe The garlic makes them want it more and helps the powder soak into the food better.
