So that says it got it on 2 fis and has stayed that way for over a week now. Dropped 5 cleaner wrasse in all were mia the next day. There are 2 cleaner shrimp in there and ive been using ruby reef kick ich daily. Any suggestions garlic is in food daily. I dropped a fish trap in attempting to catch the smaller tang but the large tang i dont think is catchable.

Cleaner wrasses and shrimp do not remove ich. Neither does the kick ich stuff or any of the other 'reef safe' concoctions. The only reliable methods for eradicating ich are hyposalinity or copper.

I had a run-in with it when I first set up my tank. Using Seachem Metro and Focus mixed with food worked great for me.

I fed it for about two weeks, mixing the metro and focus with about a week's worth of food, letting it sit for ~15 minutes, mixing again, and then putting it into the freezer between feedings. There were no adverse effects to my coral.

It's effective, but I might just be lucky with the outcome, I'd still recommend some sort of quarantine with a less "reef-safe" treatment.

The cleaner shrimp my clean the wounds created by the ich but you are correct on that Stacey

Everyone is eating great and has been from the get go was able to catch the powder blue out and am treating in 40 the Atlantic blue will be impossible without a breakdown. Tomini an all others look 100 % clean still. Few speckles on the xlg sailfin but he seems unbothered.

Distributer they were mad cheap but were healthy . Not sure y they died or disappeared so quick havent lost a single other fish in the tank.

they may have been cleaner gobies and not wrasses. i think they look almost the same but the cleaner gobies are not as aggressive.

The cleaner gobies and sharknose gobies are much smaller. These were cleaner wrasses for sure.
