So I've been lucky so far and have not ran into this until yesterday. So last night when I fed my fish I noticed my Valentini Puffer had a ton of white spots all over it. It didn't have them that morning and I've noticed nothing with my yellow tang yet. Both of these are in a 20 gallon QT tank. I just found my puffer this morning dead but my yellow tang still looks great, no spots and swimming fine. I was just wondering if anyone has any luck with any non copper treatments. I will be treating the QT tank tonight as soon as I get home from work even though I see nothing wrong with the yellow tang. I saw a video a week or so ago about a "reef safe" treatment for ick that doesn't harm corals or invertebrates but my service at work sucks and I can't find that video right now. And advice on treatment that have worked beside the copper treatment would be awesome, by worst case I'll be getting the copper and test kits to start that.
