I noticed this morning my One Spot Foxface has a small spot between his "One Spot" and his head. It just showed up overnight. Water params were overall good (AM 0 NI 0 NA20 MAG 1500 PH 8.1 KH 12 ALK 3 CAL 460), trates about 20 though - not the first time he's seen 20 but a WC happened a few moments ago. Im not thinking its a water quality issue, looks more like a "burn mark" and the skin around it is bright yellow, despite his stress colors. He likes to get close to my BTA, sometimes sleeps under a rock beneath the nem...and my clowns just layed eggs - maybe he got stung or bit? He acts normal, is still grazing nori

wow, that is a big spot to come up overnight! I would guess a sting or bit from the clown, but I am not expert in fish diseases so I will let more experienced person help out.

Coral or anemone sting? Or perhaps a stab from a tang?

My monitor here at home is the pits - I'll try to take another look when I get home.

Im thinking its a nem sting, my regal could have but i doubt it. between him being near the nem and the clown just laid eggs i bet their was a scuffle, explains the 3 nem tenacles i found on the sound bed earlier today.
