ID Needed please.

Hi all. I need an ID on what these things are. They are growing on my rocks in alot of spots and I don't have a clue as to what they are. They are translucent and somewhat tube-shaped and seem to have a crown on top. My tank has been running for almost 2 months now.

Scypha sponge, thats my guess. I have those in my anemone tank. Harmless.

yeah i dont think they will hurt anything. they might be tunicates?? dont know

If they have a spiky little hat, they are exactly as glxtrx described. a great little hitchhiker. totally harmless.

Yea, they do have the spiky hat/crown on top.

yeah i had like a gazillion of them on my intake on my hob filter, i knocked most of them off not really thinkin. glad i left some on, they are comin back.
