I reaquascaped last week, some of my rocks settled close to my BTA (hosted by 2 Maroon Clowns, mated pair). I noticed a couple of the bta tenacles laying on the substrate this AM, like 2-3. I figured a rock cut off circulation so they fell off. when i moved the rock i found this (see photo). This has grown in a matter of days, this spot on my rock was touching the BTA. Algae? couldnt be clown eggs
another possible scenario for the loose tenacles : My foxface has a spot on his side that looks like a "burn mark" on his flesh, not deep but def a little "wound" of some sort. he has been sleeping close to the anenome lately, maybe the anenome stung him and he took a couple tenacles off to get away.
