Ok I found this white stuff growing on the side of a rock. It sort of looks like roots to a plant.. I have no idea.. Tried to get a pic.. This is the best I could get.. In the second pic it is behind and to the left of the green polyps.

I have a huge clean up crew. About 10 turbos, about 100 other assorted snails of all kinds, two cleaner shrimp, a peppermint shrimp, a cucumber, bristle worms, micro brittle stars, etc.. I have never seen white algae..?

Ok cool. The green looks bad in the pic but it isn't the slimey green algae like it looks. I think it is green coraline. It is very hard and has been there since I put the rock in. Looks darker in the pic than it really is..
I do have a lot of little white q tip type of sponge in my overflow and this looks a little like a big huge cluster of that but a little different too. Like roots on a plant or lol pasta..

I have it too, it's spongy I actually removed it from some rocks. Not sure if it's good and I have a bunch in the nano

No, definitely not feather duster tubes.. I think now after a little research in the right direction that it is sponge of some sort. Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction!
