ID of growth on back wall

I have seen these little curly things before, but never paid much attention to them. Anyone know what they are? I took my Aqua C Remora off my nano cube and saw them in there too. Are they beneficial or pests? Sorry for the low quality pic.

Its a vermatid snail

I was afraid they were vermatid snails. Any insight to control them. I soaked my skimmer in vinegar for days, so the only ones left are in the tank. I don't see any on the rocks, just the few on the back wall. I have been running a GFO reactor and have read that limiting nutrients could help reduce them, but I don't know. I will likely remove them when I do a water change this weekend.

Removal is the only method of control that I know of.
