I've had these forever and don't remember the name... Anybody help?

that is the frag!!! the colony is a probably about a hundred polyps or so...
 
After spending half an hour looking at zoa listings I can't come close to IDing it... but I agree that I would like a piece. It's pretty :)

Edit: actually, the very next page I looked at had something very similar. Could be

Close but no cigar!! Mine are more of a solid purple eye.
 
And then AGAIN;
Zoas (or any corals for that matter) have any name unless you can prove lineage.
It's a name game with some aquaculturists giving some pretty zoas names - but just because it looks like a [fill in fancy name] it is nothing but a look-a-like unless you can prove that Mr Tyree or Foxx had their facilities involved...
 
I agree with you robb. These had some fancy name i just can't remember what it was. I woukd just like to be able to say "they look like (fill in fancy name). :D

I know what you mean. Way too many people are selling "named" corals that are not even close to what they are supposed to be. I tend not to do that. I was just curious if there was a common name, and if so i'll say they are a look-a-like or at least explain that i don't remember what i bought them as.
