It appears to be an invert, looks similar to a squid, tentacles are retractable and banded with black stripes.
Harmful?

They normally bed down into the sand bed and all you will see will be all the little strings coming out of it.
 
They will spread like crazy if you over feed, they will be in holes in your rock, and all over your sand bed. I had a few in my tank that started to increase in numbers, but I found that Yellow Watchmen Gobies will eat the heck out of them, at least mine was. Just watch how much you feed and they wont get out of control.
