ID please

TSIA...picked up these leathers a ways back and just recently started noticing this lil kenya tree like things growing out of the base. They appear to have bright green coloring to them and and small little tentacles...thoughts?

Those are majano anemones. The only thing that I know can get rid of them are filefish. Otherwise you will have to take each rock out and boil it.

Well if thats the cause, then its about time to remove that piece of coral...im just glad its on its own rock

Are you talking about the brownish fuzzy looking things? If so, those aren't manjano. It almost looks like leathers but really difficult to tell by the picture.

On my computer, I'm not seeing green but if it is what is in front of the leather at the base then I don't think they are manjanos. They look like they have stalks with multiple branches and polyps which would look more like a type of finger leather.

Doesn't look like them at all. The one on the far right maybe, but not the ones up front in the pic

Definitely not mojanoes.....look more like a finger sponge or leather....

You talking about the little tiny brown/green polyp in the background?....yeah that one might be a mojano....
