I just got this ricordia plug and turned it over and found this..any idea what it is?

I forget what they are called, harmless though. They have a web they let out to catch food. they will build that tube longer and longer. They can suck when you go to grab a rock and they stab your finger.

Vermatid snail. I've seen them form with that red colored shell but don't know why. It's nothing to worry about though.

They are harmless but some people consider them a pest. You're bound to get some in your tank eventually. If you want to remove him i would use plyers or something like that. They have a VERY hard shell and is almost like glass when broken, i cut my finger trying to remove one once.

Give it an EPOXY TOMB, as should be done with any unwanteds. Please do not kill it because of that.
