ID Something on rock

Anyone able to ID? Appear to me to be brown hollowed tubes.

Aquarium setup 3 weeks ago. Upgraded from a 40 breeder that was cycled to this 90g

Looks like the old shells/tubes of vermatid snails. Do you see anything ever come out of them? It would look sort of like a long spider web, if they are still alive.

They are harmless, they catch food on the 'web'. The shells are sharp - be careful when handling the rocks, those sharp shells will slice your fingers.

They're otherwise no threat, in numbers the 'webs' can be a bit unsightly but they do no harm.

Thanks. They do appear to be old. Nothing is coming out of them. Possibly just on the rock before
