my skimmer will use ozone also.. is that something that I should look at for my 90reef ?
I'm not going to do it on the 30gal..

How do you run ozone through your skimmer? Can any skimmer be modified to do this? I feel retarded that i've never heard of this before.

Have the air intake pipe of the skimmer attached to some sort of ozone kit? Can you elaborate on what you did to accomplish this, what additional equipment you needed, etc?

I have a Reef Octopus 160 Extreme internal skimmer, so if I could figure out how to run ozone through that as well, that would be sweet.

Essentially, I just tee it into the air intake for the needlewheel. As Charlie said, ozone is very abrasive to plastics, so your skimmer and associated parts needs to be "ozone safe". Otherwise it will become very fragile and brittle.
