Identification Please

I have this unidentifed "thing" growing in my refug. It is shaped kinda like a fox coral but I know it is not. Can someone help me identify this growth and should I remove it. It's about 1" thick and 1" in diameter

The top pic looks kinda like a button coral but the second pic don't! Mushroom or Blasto maybe?
My guess is it's safe and looks pretty! Mushrooms can survive a lot of abuse, that's my guess!

Others will chime in soon...

Any resemblance to your coral?

Ok, Fox Coral is my new guess!
Or Cup Coral.

The coral - I'll put my $5 on Cynarina lacrymalis.

I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for in the second picture.
