How often do you have your levels tested? where are your nitrates at?

I belive my nitrates are a little huge at around 10ppm probably from feeding so much. I test my water once a week.

I'm doing a water change tomorrow so hopefully that will help.

I have to buy. I try to do them as much as I can but I have to buy that water and it's really hard to find money to actually buy the water as my mom no longer pays for it as we are on a super tight budget.
I usually do them evry 2 weeks. Sometimes once a week. It jugs depends on if I can afford it.

Take your hydrometers to the LFS and have them compare to their (hopefully) refractometer.

Some LFS use API too (!).
