Just wanting to get people's thoughts on either the JBJ Rimless 30 gallon or Innovative Marine Nuvo Mini 38 gallon rimless. Wanting to take another stab at an AIO tank, these two look very promising. LMK what you guys think (Fit, Finish, Quality, Etc...) I have a nice stand from an RSM 130d, and it looks like both of these tanks will fit on top.

Edit: I am wanting to set it up as a mixed reef with a little of everything.

This is another tank for my office.

I have read, heard, and seen myself many of the IM38 tanks cracking in the curved glass. IM supposedly corrected this by using thicker glass but the verdict is still out.

The JBJ RL series tanks look very nice and the price is right on them. I recall the 30 was $300'ish.

I have an IM Nuvo 16 -- no issues. Very nice tank. But I would personally be hesitant to purchase anything bigger from IM.

Thanks for the input, I have seen posts around the web about the IM 38 cracking. I was leaning towards the 38 until I read this.

Just did, it is now in the running as well!! Thx!

Edit: Just wondering if my stand will handle the extra weight? It isn't a much larger foot print, nothing a new top couldn't handle. The stand is rated for the Red Sea Max 130 (34 gallon) aquarium, but is much beefier than many stands I have seen for larger tanks. I am pretty sure it would hold it, I guess I can add some bracing just to be sure.

np..ill be sure to make a build post once it gets in..im excited..its just a hold me over until i can get my 120 going this summer/fall

Went to Pure Reef, they only had the IM 38 in white. It is sharp looking, but I am not sure that i would want a white walled tank.

Blue Planet has the IM 38 in black. I saw one there the other day.

The more I look, the more I like the IM 24 gallon. Lighting it will be a pain with leds.

Yeah, I saw those last night. I do like the dimensions of the Fusion 30 over those of the 24 gallon. The only thing that i don't like about it is that they shrunk one of the chambers down, making it hard to get my Tunze skimmer in there.

I think that I am going to preorder the Fusion 30, seems like the best option for me.

That looks like a nice tank.wish it was a little wider. Years of freshwater aquascaping has made my love width.do you know what the dimensions are on the display?

That looks like a nice tank. We are getting the SR-60 in a few months

Thinking that the display measures 36x12x13, that is if they kept the same sump width of around 3".

Any thoughts on the Nuvo 24 or the soon to be released Nuvo Fusion 30L?
I heard they bumped up the glass thickness on the 24s.

They have published their specs for these. The display area is 36x11x13.

Glad you didn't buy the 55 gallons that you have ask if it was tempered glass!

Kinda confused me, you can't buy others stuff because some people would get mad, BUT! If there is a chance that you purchasing something from the mad guys they'd sell it to you!!! :lol2: j/k. :D

Grant ...this two options are great! Imho I will use the led light that you have to use on them, jmo, but you might want to upgrade light in either
